Right now, the About page is about the creation of this new website.
Normally, of course, we develop a new or revised website in a secret location, and then launch it. The launch is a Big Moment for sure! Where once there was no website (or sometimes where there was one created by an "artsy neice in high school") suddenly there is professional, cool-looking, functional and easily-navigated website.
After weeks of work, the launch is truly one of the best parts of the experience. We actually make the site live to the world with just a couple of keystrokes. Takes about three seconds. And it's even more fun when we can launch a site by asking the client herself to do the honors (like we did with Michelle Gagliano's site). Pretty cool experience. Kinda like smashing a bottle of champagne on the bow of a virtual new ship.
Of course, we're not doing it that way on our own website. This one is being built organically, live, changing everytime we get time to work on it. Fun. Kinda like drinking champagne on the bow of a virtual new ship, during a long, slow launch.
